Glossy surface
This material has many names: acrylic plaster / sculptural plaster / acrylic composite / acrylic resin / eco-resin.
100% non-toxic white powder material that mixes with water to create molds in silicone or polyurethane molds. Does not irritate the skin, does not ignite. After complete curing, the products look like ceramics and do not require additional processing.
It can be dyed with a wide range of M | Art Studio pigments and once cured can be dyed any color!
The product has a glossy surface only on those sides that were in contact with the form (the form must also be glossy).
Specifications:
Mixing ratio with water (by weight): 100 (acrylic resin) to 27 (water).
Pot life (at 25°C): 10-12 min.
Curing time: 30-40 min. (after about 40 minutes can be removed from the silicone mold)
Full curing: 4-15 hours (gaining full strength)
(depending on thickness, product shape and ambient temperature)
Fill thickness is not limited.
Heat resistance after full curing: 100-120 °C
The product will be solid 15-20 minutes after pouring, but in the next 15 hours the strength of the material will increase
Mixing
Proportions by weight: 100 (Naturesin) : 27 (water)
Prepare a large container for the two components.
Add liquid in the desired doses to the container.
Slowly add the Base powder to the liquid (previously weighed according to the usage ratio) little by little while stirring constantly.
Once all of the powdered component has been added, continue stirring the mixture until a smooth, lump-free flowable mixture is obtained.
The maximum working time at the standard ratio is 12 - 15 minutes.
After pouring the Naturesin mixture into the mold, tap the mold firmly against the supporting surface several times to encourage air bubbles to escape from the mixture.
