Recommendations:
1. Pouring - the pouring temperature range is 55-65°C. The exact temperature will vary depending on the presence of additives and will be determined during testing. Pouring temperatures may vary depending on the type and size of the container, the fragrance and colorant used, and the effects the candle maker is trying to achieve. Fragrance should be added and mixed immediately before pouring - this will preserve the integrity of the fragrance and improve the aroma release. If you are having difficulty with the pouring temperature, try lower or higher temperatures in 5°C increments. Consider pouring into preheated containers.
2. Additives (fragrances, colors) - maximum loading is 12%, adding more may cause problems with solubility and curing of the wax. It is highly recommended to use a fragrance specially formulated for use with natural waxes. The size and depth of the burn pool significantly affects the release of the fragrance, so the correct wick is of paramount importance.
3. Temperature conditions - add additives at a temperature of 60-70 °C. Stirring is also acceptable in a water bath or in a wax melter.
4. Stirring. Gently stir the fragrance in the wax for several minutes until completely dissolved.
5. Overheating. Do not allow the wax to heat above 90 °C. This will affect the quality, aroma and appearance.
6. Infusion. The minimum curing time is 48 hours, but according to experts, infusion for about 10-14 days is optimal, as this improves efficiency and aroma output.
Do the first candle testing no earlier than 2-3 days after pouring.
To achieve the best results and quality of candles - we strongly recommend conducting your own tests of pouring, temperature conditions, percentage of fragrances and dyes.
There are many factors that influence the quality, color and aroma of a candle, such as: room temperature and humidity, quality of materials used, size of containers for pouring, temperature conditions for heating the wax and pouring, amount of additives used, size and quality of the wick and much more.
