Alginates are elastic impression materials used as impression compounds.
The main raw material for producing alginate impression masses is brown algae; this material is characterized by high elasticity, uniformity of composition and rapid absorption of water.
Our chromatic alginate - the one used in dental kits - is one of the purest and most precise. Alginate mixed with water will be pink in color and will change to white when dry, allowing you to know when to remove your hands or object from the mold. The use of this material allows our plaster casts to have very high clarity even in the smallest details.
