A special holder for cotton wicks will help you cope with this task.
Just install the metal wick holder on top of the glass or container of your choice, set the central hole on the holder exactly in the middle of the glass or container and fix the wick in a special hole on the holder.
Special ribs on the metal holder will help you work with different diameters of glasses or other containers from 6 cm to 9 cm in diameter.
